AN ACT
ENTITLED, An Act to
authorize the issuance of temporary snowmobile permits to residents and to
increase the fee for such permits.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 32-20A-15.1 be amended to read as follows:
32-20A-15.1. Any owner of an unlicensed snowmobile shall purchase a temporary permit to operate the snowmobile in this state. The fee for the permit is forty dollars. The permit is valid for five consecutive days. All fees collected shall be deposited in the snowmobiles trails fund established by § 32-5-9.2.
