FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
increase the compensation of the secretary of state, the
state treasurer, the state auditor, and the commissioner of school and public lands.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. The annual salary of the secretary of state, the state treasurer, the state auditor, and the commissioner of school and public lands shall be eighty-six thousand one hundred forty- four dollars. Beginning on July 1, 2008, the annual salaries shall be adjusted annually by the same rate appropriated as the across-the-board increase to base salaries of state employees under the General Appropriations Act in each corresponding year, in accordance with § 3-8-2.1.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. Beginning on July 1, 2008, the annual salaries shall be adjusted annually by the same rate appropriated as the across-the-board increase to base salaries of state employees under the General Appropriations Act in each corresponding year, in accordance with § 3-8-2.1.
