A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION,
Congratulating the Sioux Falls Washington High School
Highsteppers on the success of their dance team in the 2006-2007 season.
WHEREAS,
the Washington High School Highsteppers worked and trained hard for their 2006-
2007 season; and
WHEREAS,
the team showed tremendous ability, both athletically and academically, throughout
the season; and
WHEREAS,
Coach Angela Nieman directed the team to be at their best; and
WHEREAS,
the team members were the 2007 Grand Champions at the United Performing
Association's National Competition:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED,
by the Eighty-second Legislature of the State
of South Dakota, that the Washington High School Highsteppers be honored for their achievements
as a dance team in the 2006-2007 season.
