         FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  authorize the Fourth Circuit drug court program in the Unified Judicial System and to make an appropriation therefor.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
     Section 1.  The Unified Judicial System may continue the Fourth Circuit drug court program for the purpose of providing intensive, supervised rehabilitation to nonviolent adult felony offenders who abuse controlled substances.
     Section 2.  There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of fifty-nine thousand seven hundred fifteen dollars ($ 59,715 ), one hundred seventy-six thousand five hundred ninety- six dollars ($ 176,596 ) in federal fund expenditure authority, and thirty thousand eight hundred dollars ($30,800) in other fund expenditure authority, or so much thereof as may be necessary, and 3.0 FTEs, to the Unified Judicial System for costs related to the Fourth Circuit drug court program.
     Section 3.  The state court administrator shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.
     Section 4.  Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated by June  30, 2009 , shall revert in accordance with the procedures prescribed in chapter 4-8.
