FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to designate Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day as a
working holiday.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 1-5 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:

The thirtieth day of March, to be known as Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day, shall
be observed in this state as a working holiday. Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day is
dedicated to the remembrance and recognition of the service and sacrifice rendered by our
nation's veterans of the Vietnam War.
