FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
revise certain provisions regarding corrosion protection
for tank piping systems and aboveground tanks containing flammable or combustible liquids
and used in retail motor fuel dispensing operations.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 34-38-33 be amended to read as follows:
34-38-33. Any portion of a tank piping system that is in contact with the soil shall be protected from corrosion in accordance with
Article 79, Division VII, section 79.702 of the
Uniform Fire Code
chapter 34 of the International Fire Code, 2003 edition
.
Section 2. That § 34-38-39 be amended to read as follows:
34-38-39. Tanks
shall be limited to
may not exceed
an individual capacity of
ten

not

exceed an aggregate capacity of
