FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to
revise certain provisions relating to the recording and indexing
of homestead descriptions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 43-31-8 be amended to read as follows:
43-31-8. The description of the homestead, certified and acknowledged by the owner, shall be recorded by the register of deeds of the proper county
in a book to be called the "homestead book,"
which shall be provided with a proper index
.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
