A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Recognizing Jean Benson for her achievements as head
coach for the Chester Area Flyers Volleyball Team.
WHEREAS, Jean Benson coached the Chester Area Flyers Volleyball Team to a 2015 South
Dakota State Volleyball Championship win; and
WHEREAS, one of Jean's players, Jenna Reiff, was named the South Dakota 2015-2016
Gatorade Player of the Year; and
WHEREAS, Jean was awarded the 2015 South Dakota Volleyball Coaches Association Region
Coach of the Year for Region 3:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-First Legislature of the State
of South Dakota, that the Legislature recognizes Jean Benson for her outstanding coaching
achievements.
