FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to set the time period for when an agency may promulgate
rules.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 1-26 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:

Section 1. That chapter 1-26 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
No agency may start the rule promulgation process pursuant to § 1-26-4 to adopt, amend,
or repeal a permanent rule from October thirty-first to February twenty-eighth, inclusive.
