FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to revise certain provisions regarding the sale of certain real
estate at the South Dakota Development Center.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 21 of the 2016 Session Laws be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:

Section 1. That chapter 21 of the 2016 Session Laws be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
Section 7. Notwithstanding the provisions of this Act or any other law to the contrary, the
Governor may direct the commissioner of school and public lands to transfer any or all interest
in Lots 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13 to the purchaser of any or all of Lots 4, 5, 6, 14, 15, 16, 18,
19, 20, and 21, at no cost, subject to such conditions in the purchase agreement as to Lots 4, 5,
6, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, and 21 as will reasonably ensure the rehabilitation and restoration to
public use of the buildings located on Lot 19 by any subdivision of government.
