        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to provide a felony penalty for the intentional injury or disfigurement by certain corrosive materials.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That chapter 22-18 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
    A person who willfully and maliciously places or throws, or causes to be placed or thrown, upon any other person, any sulfuric acid, corrosive acid, flammable substance of any kind, or caustic chemical of any kind, with the intent to injure or disfigure the other person, is guilty of a Class 3 felony.
