        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to provide funds for the purpose of increasing wages for certain employees of community support providers and nursing facilities.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That the code be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
    Any state general fund savings obtained from additional federal funding for services received through an Indian Health Service or tribal facility and furnished to Medicaid-eligible American Indians shall be used to increase the Medicaid reimbursement rates for community support providers and nursing facilities for the purpose of enhancing the wages of direct care employees to a level commensurate with those of state employees in comparable job classifications.
