FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to require the posting of contact information for persons
providing services to residents of a township.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That chapter 8-5 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:

Section 1. That chapter 8-5 be amended by adding a NEW SECTION to read:
The board of township supervisors shall provide to the auditor of the county in which the
township is located a listing of all services provided by the township to its residents and the
name and contact information of the person responsible for providing each service. The board
of township supervisors shall ensure that the auditor is apprised of any change in the
information required by this section.
The auditor shall post the information required by this section on the official website of the
county.
