AN ACT
ENTITLED, An Act to revise certain provisions relating to sureties for water user district treasurers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That § 46A-9-35 be amended to read as follows:
46A-9-35. The treasurer shall furnish and maintain a corporate surety bond in such amounts and with such sureties as the directors may specify and conditioned on faithful performance of the treasurer's duties. The bond, as thus approved, shall be filed with the secretary of state, and the premium upon the bond shall be paid by the district.
