        FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to reduce the percentage of a winery's annual production that may be bulk wine.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
    Section 1. That § 35-16-8 be amended to read:
    35-16-8. At least seventy-five percent of a winery's annual production shall be fermented at the winery. The quantity of bulk wine in any wine manufacturer's annual production shall imported from any other location, whether within or outside of this state may not exceed fifty twenty-five percent of that winery's annual production. The bulk wine must be blended and not bottled. Bulk wine as used in this section means fermented juice from grapes and other fruit bases or honey.
    Section 2. That § 35-16-9 be amended to read:
    35-16-9. Any license issued pursuant to this chapter is effective from July 1, 2018, until July 1, 2019 2025, and may not be renewed.
