Rule 20:59:02:01 Academic requirements for social work associate.

          20:59:02:01.  Academic requirements for social work associate.After January 1, 1986, academic requirements for a social work associate license in SDCL 36-26-16 must be completed at a junior college, college, or university accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency approved by the United States Department of Education. In addition, degrees granted before January 1, 1986, must have been completed when the institution was accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency approved the United States Department of Education.

    20:59:02:03.01.  Programs approved by the Council on Social Work Education. An applicant who graduated prior to July 1974 with a bachelor's degree in social work from a program subsequently accredited by the Council on Social Work Education meets the academic requirements for licensure as a social worker.
